In this demonstration I explain how to remove the Toshiba Tecra R940 laptop screen lcd panel.
I assume the Toshiba Tecra R940-1CV laptop was dropped and the led screen got smashed.
Make sure the Toshiba Tecra R940-02H laptop is switched off and battery is removed before following the removing instructions of broken Toshiba Tecra R940-S9431 laptop screen panel.
I’ll be using the sharp blade, sharp point to take apart the Toshiba Tecra R940-S9431 screen bezel.
Insert the guitar pick between the screen bezel and display cover and separate the bezel from the cover.
This will create space to insert your fingers between the screen and bezel of Toshiba Tecra R940-02T laptop.
Continue removing the screen bezel using your finger and guitar pick at the same time.
You’ll need to gently pull the bezel in order to release hidden latches.
Continue removing the display bezel on the top and both sides of the display assembly frame.
Now you can continue removing the Toshiba Tecra R940-1CW laptop bezel on the bottom side of the screen fitting.
Separate the screen bezel from the Toshiba Tecra R940-1EE laptop.
The screen assembly secured to the screen back cover with six screws.
Remove all six screw from Toshiba Tecra R940-SMBGX4 screen frame.
Deattach the led screen assembly from the Toshiba Tecra R940-B244 laptop screen monitor back cover.
Warrning: If your Toshiba Tecra R940-02T laptop has web cam, check if the web camera cable connected to the back cover, nicely remove it from the frame.
Now you can see the back side of the led display and disconnect the video cable from the Toshiba Tecra R940-039 notebook lcd.
disconnect the data cable from the connector on the back of the lcd .

Now you can replace the broken Toshiba Tecra R940-00L laptop screen lcd with a new one.
You can google for a new replacement LCD panel for Toshiba Tecra R940-1CN laptop.
In Toshiba Tecra R940-1D6 laptop may have following manufactruer screen fitted: Quanta,Samsung,Sharp,Toshiba.
